Description: Ruskin United Methodist Day Care and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is licensed by Hillsborough County to provide day care and instructional services for children who are infants to pre-school age. We are an approved VPK provider. We have two VPK classes each year in addition to a nursery, one-year-old, two-year-old, three-year-old and four-year-old classrooms. We currently have 85 children enrolled.
We are open from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, and follow the Hillsborough school schedule for the VPK classes. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are provided each day. We accept both self-pay and School Readiness for payment. Drop-in service is available for preregistered children who have been approved by the director. VPS classes are free to the parent. VPK students can remain at the day care after VPK for a fee.

Very pleased with the teachers no complain about them my kids love them. director of day care is not a friendly person to deal with when problems occur.
My daughter attended daycare for 3 and a half years and for the most part I was happy with the care given to my daughter. Sadly, I was given less than 24 hours notice that my daughter's slot was given to someone else. This daycare requires the parents to give 2 weeks notice in writing regarding withdrawl of your child but will not extend the same courtesy. I also was a little concerned by the fact that half of the staff is the daycare director's immediate family members and her own great-grandchildren attend the daycare with a guaranteed spot? Very unprofessional business practices! Decent care.
