I was able to take a tour for my daughter's first apartment in the 45217 area. I looked up a nearby child care center/provider as well. Once the apartment tour ended, I later walked just a few buildings down to the Royal Blossoms location. Pulling on to the street I notice a heavy police presence near or in front of what I found out was the daycare location, a change in the value of property, possible drug activity, lots of litter, over crowding of parked cars and driving. Loitering, dumped cars and furniture throughout the entire street. The building where the childcare is located is at the dead end of this street. I noticed a set of windows in the front had torn blinds with all types of items put up to the window as if it was abandoned. The building front door was not secure, the door seemed to be left open. Someone had also left their dog sitting on the porch a area. I proceeded back to my car to drive up to the building where the childcare was located so That I could take a closer look. By this time the dog was gone, but the door was left open, the property had an unreasonable amount of litter. I was able to walk right inside the building where I later saw, roaches, gnats and spiders inside the hall area. I could smell the animal urine, there was splattered liquid and dirt on the walls. This building may have a roach infestation from what I've seen. The floor had not been swept or mopped in a while from the looks of things. It definitely did not seem like a safe or sanitary environment for any child to be raised or kept. I went back home to research this child care. I later looked up the street in addition to the child care and discovered so many displeasing things about the child care. Multiple infractions. I also found out about the exact unit.Which was also the unit that appeared to be abandoned. I do not know the owner personally and I am not judgmental by far, you cannot help where you have to live at times. I see a lot of centers/providers in poverty bound areas that are thriving! I saw a location about a block away, type B and it looked like a actual childcare. At this location on Glenridge I never saw anything that looked like it was kid safe let alone a day care center. No signs, no notices, no children playing, no toys, nothing at all. I am no inspector but for these reasons I do not recommend this type of care for any person's child or children. My daughter and I turned down the apartment on Glenridge for countless reasons. The correct location of Royal Blossoms is 153 Glenridge Place Cin, OHio 45217 unit A. I am an after school coordinator, I am around children everyday. I've done this for over 5 years. This is not a safe place. You do not have to take my word for it, you can go and look for yourself. HCJFS website to look up providers and Google maps will take you to this location. Please be safe, be choosy, be wise when trusting anyone with your little ones. Just 1 choice can change the lives of a child and it's family. Take Care.
