My husband and I interviewed with Miria for an infant opening, the interview went well (I thought). During the interview, Miria offered us the available infant opening and we took it. She told us we would meet again the next week to fill out and sign a contract, she told me to call her to schedule this. At this point we discontinued searching for daycare. After the interview, Miria dodged our phone calls, texts, and emails for WEEKS. I eventually managed to contact her and get a meeting scheduled for the contract, which she canceled via text ‘due to an emergency’ ten minutes before the meeting (while I was in my car and on my way). She text me that she would contact me to reschedule, which she never did. Luckily we started looking for childcare early and were able to resume our search/secure care elsewhere in time for me to return to work. Miria was extremely unprofessional, unforthcoming, and put my family in the potentially risky position of not having daycare by the date we needed it, as promised.
