Findings: At least two pieces of play equipment, the seesaw and the yellow slide are located too close to the fence and to the wooden landscape beams. This poses a hazard to the children as they play on this equipment. The seesaw should be moved to an area that allows them to be at least 6 feet from other objects, to include the fence, fence posts, other equipment and wooden beams. This is also the issue with the yellow plastic slide. Please move these pieces of equipment to an area where they have a 6 ft "fall zone" around them and show proof of having done so to OCC. Until that time, children should not play on either of those pieces of equipment. If the Provider so desires, she may make the slide "off limits" to child care children. If so, please show OCC how you have done so.

There is no alarm on the back door of the home's "furnace room" that leads into the pool area within the fence. The gate of the chain link fence is not self-closing or self-latching and it is not secured. No floating sensor was observed. The chain link fence's gate must be self-latching and self-closing and have a pad lock on it to secure it. The outside door leading into the pool area from the home must have an alarm on it. The pool also has to have a floating alarm to detect water movement if someone/something fell in the water. Please make these changes and provide proof of doing so to OCC.
