Roeland Park Child Development Center offers full and part time child care options. We are fully licensed by the State of Kansas and are Five-Star Rated with the Kansas Quality Rating and Improvement System. Our room holds 22 children ages 3-5 and potty trained. In operation since 1987, we strive to create a quality environment where all children feel safe, secure and nurtured. We encourage children to cooperate, accept responsibility, embrace diversity and practice respect. We maintain a sense of community that encourages open communication between parents, children and staff. Our teacher’s help children feel confident, valued and accepted as individuals and support the development of a healthy self-image. Creativity is encouraged through self-expression and exposure to activities that stimulate thinking and exploration. We provide a wide range of age appropriate learning activities and positive role models for the children to meet their needs as individuals as well as in group settings. We believe in discipline that is consistent and firm but loving and guiding. Our learning activities focus on child development in five domains: physical, cognitive, social/emotional, adaptive and language. Call 913-826-3170 or drop by and visit anytime!
