About the Provider

Welcome to the wonderful world of learning at Basalt Elementary School! This is a very special and important time in your child's life. Early learning is critical to a child's continued success in school and our philosophy in all of our classrooms is to focus on each child's needs to create an environment where all students show success in their learning.

Our school offers the choice of Dual Language Bilingual program at all grade levels. Our school also offers many programs to meet student needs including a Gifted and Talented (PEAK) Program, Environmental Education, Outdoor Education Field Trips, Grade Level Plays, Counseling Services, English Language instruction as well as many others.

Basalt Elementary School is closed to any new enrollment outside of the Basalt attendance area (Old Snowmass to Blue Lake Subdivision). This decision was made due to the fact that enrollment at BES has reached maximum optimal capacity.
