River Church RVA

The members of James River Community Church began James River Child Development Center in June of 1997. After taking a survey of 4500 homes asking residents what they wanted to see in a Ministry, it was evident that a child care center was desperately needed in this community. The center was established as a child care center with religious exemption under Social Service and State standards. In 2003, the church name was changed to River of Love Ministries and the child care center to River of Love Child Care Center. River of Love Child Care Center is a non-profit, faith based center operated by River of Love Family Church of Chester. The Center is interracial interfaith, and has children from many ethnic backgrounds.
