Let's see, for the first 3 weeks, one of my 6 year old twins came home most days with severe burns, gash to his forehead (both twins do professional acting work and he could audition while attending this F****** school). The other twin has beautiful long curly hair and a kid in his class stuck tape in his hair then tried to stuff it down his throat, hit my child in the head with different large objects twice including with a gymnastic step and a heavy ball. That was all in one day, then the kid continued to pick at my child's scabs and more. When I demanded to meet with the Principal, she told me that I could deal with it or leave. I told her wow, I'll just talk to the Dean and she told me no, youre not. I met with the Dean of DU and told me that since I was getting a tuition discount I could deal with it or leave. The Chancelor of DU is impossible to get ahold of.
Let's see, There are huge rust eaten stains on the bus and they NEVER turned the air conditioning on in the summer... this WILL cause the teachers to open the damn windows and then if theres a school shooter...????? The CHancelor is busy making millions so can't be bothered.
Lastly, there are as many violations here... and when I attended my first parent meeting with the Principal as she was new, the woman held a Tea with the Principal... I came about 20 min late and the principal wasnt there the entire time I was to the end. All the other parents were just complaining about all the problems from last year to the VP who was there and her response was.. I know right, it was awful... for everything they said!!!
The administration here poisons what might otherwise be a great experience! Talk with other parents before you join and you'll find out they've all had problems. Try somewhere else and avoid the crazy drama here!
