My children have been with Gladys Reyes (affectionately called Mami Laly) since 2016 and 2019. They are still enrolled for daycare/Aftercare services. She is a gem who cares about the children as if they are her own grandkids. She provides nurturing care in a clean, educational environment. My first child stayed full time for VPK with her and is an A+ student from Kindergarten thru 2nd grade. My second child is with her for daycare and is excelling in her VPK classroom. My children have never had any illnesses apart from a common cold. Due to the covid pandemic, procedures have changed outside of her control that are dictated by the CDC and DCF. I have no objections to how she runs her business and her home. I respect her decisions and know it is in the best interest of all children.
When I spoke to the lady over the phone got a great vibe and was excited to meet her and see the daycare facility it was at her home which I loved it was set up just like a daycare however before coming in she said due to COVID we need to cover our shoes but yet no face mask needed to be worn. Then she started telling me how I should be a parent she seem very paranoid step by step has to be done cause the inspectors will complain also I have help from family and she said I can’t have no one pick up my daughter even if I have them on the list of people right away my husband and I felt awkward and that if my daughter has to eat the food she does and they have to eat salad to strict in my opinion she’s more worried about getting a fine then anything I do not recommend this place at all
