Each year at RHP we work to develop a community of learners, who are equipped at this early period of development to think creatively and critically, and to respect, support, and learn from all members of their community.
RHP was founded by a group of local Red Hook parents, who identified a need for a high-quality, progressive, affordable preschool in their neighborhood. Their goal was to develop a community-based preschool where children would be challenged and cared for in a loving, supportive, and creative environment.
