Before I left this place I ordered a round rug. It came in after I quit. I was wrong to think that when it would be delivered that they would just send it back with delivery person.
Months later I'm sent some pictures of this rug being used in infant room.
I messaged and advised that since they kept rug I wanted full payment.
The owner Melissa Davis messaged me and advised she would put check in mail.
That was 10 days ago & I have not received payment.
Please do not send your child here. They are liars.
Horrible dirty center. Knats fly everywhere
Dirty clothes don't get washed for weeks.
Employees are unprofessional. They dress in very short shorts( a** cheek showing)
One got her nipples pierced and lifted her shirt to show. This same employee would sleep while watching kids. Owner and director knew but did nothing. Just please stay clear of this center. They do not have a child's safety & happiness as top priority
I recently posted a review ( Sept. 29, 2021)of my experiences as an employee there. I've since read another review from Linsey Landreneau( Oct 6, 2021)Please beware she is the owners daughter. She is employed there. Her children who are older, school age attend a private school in Lafayette. They do attend here, their grandparents center during summer.
I just think it's strange when a relative post a good review after my bad review.
Very great daycare center! Very loving, trained and qualified, staff! Cameras on site that all parents can view at anytime. It is regulated by the state and has good reports. My children love to go to daycare. And to me that speaks volumes!
I was employed here from Aug 4th to Sept 28, 2021. I was in the infant room. There was no routine in room. I personally worked nights & weekends( no pay) to clean up that filthy room. I loved doing it because those babies deserved a clean environment. Nats are everywhere. Our dirty laundry would sit for days. I brought laundry home clean and return it next day. I brought dish detergent to clean bottles and was told by other employees "we don't do that. We just put bottles back in diaper bags." Nasty! I was told not to and was laughed at when I'd want to change the childrens clothes. Well they were filthy because in that room they put food on high chair tray and let kids eat with their hands. Rice gravy, spaghetti, vegetables and fruits that come out of a can( very sticky)
I refused to feed those kids like they were animals. They do not offer fluids to drink unless it's lunch time or snack( I observed this in Infant to 1 year old room) parents who brought formula bottles that's what those kids drank. If parents didn't supply bottle, kids had a 4oz milk carton that was split between lunch & afternoon snack. Every once in awhile they received a juice carton. Again had to split that 4 oz carton between 2 kids. I witnessed several times these milk cartons left out for hours. And then returned to refrigerator to serve another day. Breakfast was most days dry cereal and fruit or pancakes. Again no drink offered. I bought different foods to give these kids a variety. Snack is either 3 cheese crackers, 1/2 pack of animal cookies or cheese nips. Again no variety.
Most workers are lazy. One worker, Tabitha will sleep on the job. Her night job keeps her up late. Owner and director know this and does nothing. Most of the women wear very short shorts. I'm talking about butt cheek showing kinda shorts. Again management is aware but does nothing. I personal witnessed director, Lauren Credeur give a 4 month old Gripe medicine for a tummy ache and within an hour give him Milacon drops because her words, " I told my mom that Gripe Water is not good!" WOW! All this without parents permission. And we could not even ASK a parent to bring medicine to help with teething etc. They run a filthy center. Most of workers have no clue how to care for a child. The few that do a great job are talked about and laughed at. Please do not bring your child here. They allow infants to cry. Put them in swings and bouncers way too much. Again I brought this up to Lauren the director. She agreed but did nothing to correct it. Her advice to me when I asked about things to do/say and not to do/say. Her advice if a child happens to have a bowel movement during observation just leave child in poop diaper and when observer takes a break change them then. These observers are sometimes in our room 20 + minutes. One worker will holler in infant room, "Lay down & go to sleep." Yea that don't work plus it is so loud it wakes up the ones that are sleeping. These are children under 1 years old. Filthy and horrible environment for a child.
