Correction Verification: Submit Documentation Compliance Date: 4/30/2024 5 CSR 25-400.095 Furniture, Equipment and Materials Violation: The requirements for sleeping materials were not met as evidenced by 4 children 12 months or older was/were sleeping/napping on sleeping mats as opposed to approved cots. The provider after discussion with CI Ray-Warnke did/does have the adequate amount of cots available plus cot sheets, blankets and pillows. The provider was not aware that a variance was needed to se sleeping mats. The provider requested approval for a sleeping mat variance. CI Ray-Warnke will send the variance to the provider to be approved. Rule Reference: 5 CSR 25-400.095 Furniture, Equipment and Materials (1) (B) 1 A states: A cot, bed, sofa, padded playpen or crib shall be provided for each child who naps or sleeps.
