Description: Queens Community House (QCH) was founded in 1975 in the wake of heated confrontations that erupted over the advent of low-income housing in Forest Hills. The organization’s intent was to heal and bridge a divided community by providing social services, inter-generational activities, housing assistance and advocacy, and local leadership development. Almost 40 years later, QCH has grown to serve 25,000 people of all ages, faith practices, and nationalities at 23 sites in 11 neighborhoods in Queens. We continue to follow our mission of providing community-based services that bring neighbors together and respond to the common needs and aspirations of an increasingly diverse borough.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
