I highly suggest you do not enrolled your children in this daycare. Benita Taylor is a liar, inconsistent, unprofessional, and money hungry. The facility on Big Bethel is understaffed. When I enrolled my two school aged kids, Benita quoted my mother and me $80 for both kids. I ask her a week later she went up $5 more for both. I told her that that’s not what she quoted at first and her words were “ain’t no way I said that” then stated that my kids ain’t have long no way so it’s $85 for both a week on top of $185 for my 2 year old so in all I’m paying out of pocket every week is $355 for my kids to eat one gram cracker for snack. Benita told my mother that the summer camp kids would be doing all this fun stuff and haven’t done nothing. They just started taking the kids to the library last Friday. Benita also stated to my mother that my school aged kids could bring snacks from home. My kids have been bringing and eating their snacks for two weeks until Kristen put my two year old on a leash to calm my two year old down. My two year old had a red mark on his wrist from the leash being tight and him trying to get out of it. My mother called Benita and Benita told Kristen not to do that anymore. After that my school aged kids couldn’t eat their snack anymore. My mother called Benita and she stated “ain’t no way I told your mom they could bring snacks.” The teachers are cursing around the kids. Benita was talking about suspending my two year old because of him biting and scratching. I told her that it must be somebody messing with him cause he just don’t go up to other children biting and scratching. He’s never done it in any other daycare so why will he start now? I teach my kids to never be a bully and never get bullied. One incident happened where a child got bit and the teachers didn’t even know what was going on so they automatically blamed it on my child who was no where near that child. Close this crappy daycare down!
Pure at heart daycare is absolutely horrible! My 10 month old daughter has been going there for not even an month and I’ve already pulled her out. The front lady is disrespectful and inconsiderate of parents feelings and time. She’s very rude and always thinks she’s right. Within a month my daughter has been turned away from the door twice In one week without any notice one day and a phone call at 6am while I was still sleeping, and then when I complained to my social worker and mention to change the daycare the front lady at the daycare terminated care of my daughter without my knowledge leaving me scrambling for care for an infant. They can’t keep staff for anything and whenever I get turned away at the door, she still gets paid for my daughter being absent. I work at a hospital and I told that lady that I cannot keep calling out of work to watch my daughter, they’re a daycare for a reason. As a parent I advise you not to send your children to this daycare EVER. You will be frustrated and blamed and left hanging with no other options. I will be finding a new daycare, someone who actually cares about the parents and they’re children and not just the money.
I WISH I would've listened to the reviews. The staff and owner will claim that the negative reviews are from fired and resentful staff but they're not. They are from real parents who have all had the same despicable experience. The owner, Ms. Benita Taylor, is nasty, unprofessional and reckless. She expects to run the daycares from the comfort of her own couch. I've witnessed firsthand how unprofessional she is at running her business and they type of "businesswoman" she truly is. Please do not be fooled by her "God-fearing" and "righteous church going woman" FACADE she tries to initially put on. She will constantly hang up on you, she will threaten to call the police on you when you demand answers to your questions and concerns, she will avoid you LIKE THE PLAGUE and claim that she is too busy to even sit down and talk to you in person or over the phone. She will cover up people being sick if that means she can keep the building open just so she can make HER money. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY: PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. If i could give this place negative 100 stars I would. This is the worst daycare you can send your child to. The owner is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, does NOT care about her staff or children in her care. She tries to hide what really goes on in the daycare from the parents and act as if things are normal or ok. My child has attended this daycare for 6 months and I have not met Ms. Benita Taylor ONCE! She gives excuses as to why she cannot come to her own daycare and check on the welfare of her staff and students but will gladly come on Friday to collect the tuition. It is ridiculous. This place desperately needs to be shut down before someone gets hurt or worse. Against my better judgement and after reading numerous negative reviews, I still decided to send my son to this daycare because I had to return to work and there were no other daycares available. I initially liked the staff at Phase 2, it wasn't until Phase 1 closed and the unprofessional and ghetto staff came to Phase 2 & 3. They didn't know what they were doing (untrained), VERY unprofessional (talking/joking about the parents and the children in front of other parents and children) and were disorganized (losing children's bottles & blankets or sending them home with the wrong family). This is really unfortunate because there are some staff members who are hardworking, connect well with and care for the children. This place needs to be shut down.
MANAGERIAL STAFF IS HORRIBLE. Teachers are actually pretty awesome if given the tools they need to perform the job. But dat d*** Benita Taylor is lazy money hungry and selfish. All these reviews that ALL say a month ago are from staff members she’s ASKED to write a review to outweigh the negative ones. If she cared about the kids and not just the money they bring in, it has potential to be a GREAT PLACE. These kids eat the same trash everyday hott dogs nuggets & meatballs Every time I come in they have like one teacher wit too many d*** kids. I know it’s against the law. The owner dont even know when she got a new kid in the center. Oh but her axx know to collect the money from them. she a Shiesty lazy rude selfish unprofessional marshmallow
