Verification of staff completion of First Aid training from an approved training organization was not in the staff file. Both staff members completed the First Aid Training during today’s visit.

Application did not have a medical action plan attached for any child with health care needs such as allergies, asthma, or other chronic conditions that require specialized health services. In Space #1, one child with a chronic condition, who is prescribed an Albuterol Sulfate HFA Inhaler for long term use, did not have a medical action plan on file.

All corrosive agents, pesticides, bleaches, detergents, cleansers, polishes, any product which is under pressure in an aerosol dispenser, and any substance which may be hazardous to a child if ingested, inhaled, or handled were not stored in a locked room or cabinet. On the bus used to transport children, there was one (1) bottle of Lucky Super Soft Hand Sanitizer and one (1) bottle of Hand Sanitizer Unscented Topical Solution, both with multiple warnings, in the cup holder. In the van used to transport children, there was one (1) Be Smart Get Prepared Instant Cold Compress with multiple warnings in an unlocked first aid kit under the seat.
