Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
|The child care administrator and all staff did not complete the Recognizing and Responding to Suspicions of Child Maltreatment training within 90 days of employment. Two staff persons hired on 7/23/2021 and 2/1/2022 did not complete child maltreatment training within three months of hire. A staff person hired on 1/18/2022 has not completed child maltreatment training.|

|Child care providers and uncompensated providers who are not substitute providers or volunteers, including the director did not have a medical report on file prior to employment that was signed by a health care professional and/ or the medical report was older than 12 months. Two staff members hired on 1/18/2022 and 6/14/2022 did not have a staff medical report on file by their first day of work.|
|All staff did not successfully complete certification in First Aid appropriate to the age of children in care. Verification of staff completion of First Aid training from an approved training organization was not in the staff file. One staff member hired on 7/23/2021 did not complete First Aid training until 2/12/2022. First Aid certification for five staff members expired on 1/31/22. One staff member completed First Aid training on 2/12/22; the four other staff members completed it on 3/5/22.|

|Plastic bags, materials that could be torn apart and toy parts small enough to be swallowed were accessible to children under three years of age. . In Space 4, a plastic bag containing pull ups were located in a storage drawer located across from the diaper changing area. The storage drawer was below 5ft from the finished floor. In Space 3, a plastic bag that contained art materials was located on a shelf below 5ft from the finished floor. In Space 2, a Ziploc bag containing clothes and a Ziploc bag containing two (2) pacifiers were stored in the children's cubby below 5ft from the finished floor. In Space (4), a pack of glitter was located in the storage drawer across from the diaper changing area. In Space 3, a three compartment storage container that included art materials such as pom poms were stored below 5ft. You removed the small art materials from the storage container and located on a shelf above 5ft from the finished floor during today’s visit.|
|The written feeding plan did not include the child's name, parent signature, and/or was not dated when received by the center. In Space 2, an infant feeding plan did not include a parent signature for one of four feeding plans.|

In Space 4, a container of Zep disinfectant wipes was stored on a shelf above 5ft from the finished floor but was not in locked storage.|

|A drug or medicine was administered after its expiration date. In space #1, a container of Albuterol expired July 2020 and the pharmacy prescription for the Albuterol expired on 12/4/19. In space #1, an Epi-Pen expired on 7/26/20.|

The staff are very loving and kind to the parents and children that they serve. The classrooms are always so neat and clean and my child is always clean and dry (diaper) when I go to pick her up. This is a great place for your child to learn good social skills, problem solving techniques and receive positive redirection and verbal encouragement.
