Ms. Isabel is the bestttttttt. she cares a lot about the students here
Went for the parents orientation. This people seems nice, but they need to speak English there, not Spanish. There are the big group of parents with a kids there, and the staff was speaking Spanish to each other in front of us!!Made me feel like I was in different country at the moment!!Was not sure if I want to bring my child after that to this place
I also wanted to say, as nice and clean as this place is, and the kids learn and are well taken care of. The one thing that bothers me a lot is some of them really, really need to stop talking Spanish and too much. One especially she talks a lot and she knows more Spanish than English. I am Puerto rican and I speak, read and write Spanish but English is ALWAYS number 1. When I told her "don't forget my daughter is allergic to milk" she said "what" and then I thought about saying it in Spanish but I went ahead and said it again in English once more and she said wait and got another person to understand what im saying. that to me showed incompetence. SHe really needs to learn and talk English at all times.
The office staff could definitely be more useful but they are a nice facility and nice staff. But when i informed the staff of my child's allergies and also gave them the note they kept forgetting, but i had to keep reminding them for over a week.
My three children go to this daycare. The facility is clean, I feel secure knowing that my children are in a safe and loving enviornment. I am so pleased and surprised at the amazing education my children are receiving at this daycare--and I am an enducator in the public school system! Times have been tough economically and the director has been willing to work with us. These people truly care about the children and providing a top-notch service for the community.
