Description: The Potter's House After School Program is open to all youth from surrounding Upper Valley communities. The afterschool program runs during the school year five days a week from 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. The program focuses on academic enrichment and character development of participating children and teens also using resources in the game and activities center. The program is staffed by adults who have undergone training in youth development. Students from a diverse spectrum of economic backgrounds will receive individual support while building relationships in the community. Our program activities include tutoring, mentoring, basic education achievement, computer training, entrepreneurial skills and character development. The Summer Camp Program is a favorite among children and parents alike! Our program is unique, filled with hands on learning adventures and field trips like these: the ocean, Fort Ticonderoga, Shelburne Museum, Plymouth Rock and Mayflower Ship, Calvin Coolidge National Park and Museum, Billings Farm and Museum, Montshire Museum, local farms, apple orchards, sugar houses and fairs, Northern Stage, Lebanon Opera House, Hopkins Center and more!
