2019-09-24 Complaint 13A.15.08.02A Corrected
Findings: The provider acknowledged that she often use a park across Darnestowne Road and doesn't use the crosswalk. She said that she is usually very careful. Provider was instructed to refrain from walking the children to that park because of the danger of crossing a busy street. There is a park right next to the home which appears to be safer because the street is not as busy and there is a crosswalk situated directly from the home to the park which should be utilized. Provider was also reminded to get permission slips form the parents giving her specific permission to take the children to the park right across the street from her home before taking them. Provider needs to send a letter of correction to the office of child care noting that she understands that she should not walk the children to the park across Darnestowne Rd. The provide also needs to note that she has written permission from the parents to take the children to the nearer park right across from her home. The provider has 24 hours to correct.
