In addition to being open five days a week P.S. 48 is open 20 additional days typically on school holidays, giving the children of P.S.48 and Hunts Point “a place to go.†Operating from within the confines of a New York City Public School P.S 48 serves participants from 1st to 5th grade offering an array of programs. The children participate in Homework assistance, Arts and Crafts, Low Organizational games, sports, Step and Dance.
