There’s a few reasons why I’m giving Pilgrim Lutheran Education Center 1 star. The only good thing about this center is that it’s clean and updated on the inside. Other than that I would give it 0 stars if I could. I’ve overheard teachers cuss in front of kids and our kids came home repeating those words. This is suppose to be a “church”. They don’t do many activities during the day with the kids. They let the toddlers run around playing with the same toys every single day. No new activities, ever. No toy rotation. I’ve overheard the director say she didn’t want to accept any more boys because they had too many in their classes. Why would a director ever say she doesn’t want to accept boys just because there are too many? It’s unacceptable and unprofessional. I don’t recommend Pilgrim Lutheran at all.
I love it here! You can tell that each teacher cares about each child individually and the new management is great! You feel happy and welcomed the second you walk through the doors and it’s overall just a great place to be!
My son has attended Pilgrim Lutheran for 2 years and we are pulling him out effective immediately. Since taking on new management, they have limited their services, increased their fees, the teaching staff rotates almost daily, and my son (a 5yr old)was suspended for 1 full week because he exhibited developmentally normal behavior (he pulled down his pants and other children saw his private parts. These other children who use a shared bathroom and see each others private parts every time they go potty) and they suspended him because this was the 2nd time he needed correction. SUSPENSION. FOR A 5 YR OLD. FOR A WEEK. BECAUSE HE DROPPED TROU!! I would not send your child here.
This the worst daycare we have used they where great up until the new management team started early Jan. staff are not friendly any more and they won't listen to parents request. WOULD NOT SEND ANY CHILD THERE .
