Description: It is my pleasure and honor to serve you as the Principal of our unique learning community. Indeed we are very unique as not only do we provide educational services to over 700 elementary students, we also are the site for Head Start Preschool and specialized educational services for students with autism. All of the programs at our site are unique on their own; as a learning community we strive to support each other providing enriched learning opportunities for all.
Our community partners include our local universities and colleges; namely, La Sierra University, Cal Baptist University, RCC, UCR, and Cal State San Bernardino. Many teacher prep students from these institutions observe and student teach on our campus. In addition, we provide opportunities for teachers abroad to learn more about teaching and learning here at the ILC.
We believe our job is to prepare all students to be college and career ready. We do this through a systematic approach to learning as we provide rigorous curriculum, intervention and enrichment opportunities, high expectations for all students, and character education.
