About the Provider
Mission Statement: KCCHC seeks to create a healthy Knox County for all
community members and to work collaboratively with all sectors of the
Maine Public Health Infrastructure to achieve this mission.
Vision: The Knox County Community Health Coalition (KCCHC) will
identify, recommend and assist efforts to enhance the overall quality of life
and health in Knox County. KCCHC will assess and monitor the health of
our communities, identifying populations at risk of health problems,
providing health promotion and disease prevention services, and access to
cost-effective healthcare. KCCHC will promote a livable wage for all
community members, work to reduce substance abuse, create
opportunities for individuals to empower themselves, improve affordable
transportation and communicate effectively with each other on common
concerns.
