NC Pre-K program staff/child ratios and group sizes were not met. Upon my arrival, in Room 305 there was one teacher to 15 children ages 4 - 5 year old. Ms. Pettiford of Guilford County Schools NC Pre K Office was present but not counted in the staff/child ratio. Ms. Pettiford notified Principal Triplett who came to the classroom. Principal Triplett corrected the violation by placing a substitute in the classroom. The substitute meets the applicable requirements.
