About the Provider

Giving children the building blocks necessary to develop physically, spiritually and intellectually is the foundation of the YMCA of Pawtucket’s affordable child care programs, which are staffed by people that understand children and the need they have to feel connected and supported when learning and taking on new endeavors. By participating in YMCA child care programs, babies establish trust and security; preschoolers cultivate literacy skills; and school-age children make friends while immersed in educational and athletic activities that increase the confidence necessary to be productive and successful.

The YMCA of Pawtucket’s child care programs are for children between the ages of six weeks and 15 years old. The programs are operated at 15 sites, many of which are open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. They are located throughout Rhode Island and licensed by the state Department of Children, Youth and Families. Child care is offered year-round and attendees have access to an array of YMCA programs such as swimming and youth sports.
