My son joined this daycare at the start of Feb 2020. One day when picking him up from the daycare, I saw fingernail scratches and showed it to the daycare lady. She was defensive and said nothing happened.
Few days later when we went to pick our son up from the daycare, there was a big deep scratch/wound on my sons face.
When we asked the daycare lady about the wound, she said that it was an accident and that he was injured because the daycare lady's fingernail punctured my sons skin. When we asked how it happened, she said that it happened when she was changing my sons diaper.
1. In our opinion what she told us was a blatant lie. We fail to understand how my son's face can be injured when she was changing his diapers.
2. The wound was very deep and did not look like a fingernail induced wound. We asked her multiple times but she insisted that it was her fingernails. We suspect that my son was hurt with some other sharp object at this daycare (Jigna's Daycare - 4555 Arce St, Union City, CA).
3. The way this daycare lady tried to hide the entire incident, we do not even know if this was an intentional act by someone at that daycare or an accident.
The wound that this daycare inflicted upon my son's face has left a scar on his face. This has shattered our lives. I am writing this review to save other families and their kids from suffering from injuries at this daycare.
