(1) There were two aerosol cans unlocked in the children's bathroom, and one aerosol can beside the recliner in the living room, where the child present today was playing. (2) There was a bottle of wood floor polish on a shelf near the washer/dryer. (3) The cabinet for hazardous products was unlocked upon arrival.

Adequate supervision was not provided for children in the Family Child Care Home. Upon arrival the operator was outside in the driveway talking with her family, who was visiting. There were 2 preschool age children and three school age children in care, inside the home.

Operator did not provide a physically safe and healthy indoor and outdoor environment that meets the developmental needs of the children in care. (1) The pool steps were propped against the pool fencing on the outside of the fence, in the children's outdoor play area. The steps were accessible for children to climb, and jump into the fenced-in space for the in-ground pool. (2) There were three aerosol cans of unsafe products on the floor at the door used by children to access the outdoor fenced-in space. (3) There were several power tools in the backyard that needed to be put away and made inaccessible to the children.

Activity plan did not reflect that children have at least four different activities daily, at least one of which is outdoors. The posted activity plans were for the month of May.
