Our Place to Grow Hawks Prairie (Our Place to Grow - Hawks Prairie)

So far I really like this center. The building and toys are new, everything is orderly and clean, staff seem fun and caring, outdoor play areas are small but fun with built in jungle gyms (& bring your child's suit for water play Fridays), the older children also have regularly scheduled field trips every other week during the summer.The front desk is awesome at working with your childs drop off and pick up schedules, and keeping you informed of anything that may have happened out of the ordinary.
I gave 4 stars because you cant drop your child after 10 AM. They do a head count just before 10, and send staff home which to me means that they normally operate with the least possible amount of staff. I found this out while trying to drop my granddaughter at 10:03 AM. I was very rudley informed by someone (other than the usual gal) at the front desk. Cadence Academy also did this head count thing in the AM when we used them about three years ago (for a little while). This may be a normal practice because as I said earlier, this is our third daycare. I can tell you that we were never turned away for a late drop off at Horizon Learning Center and that's the only other place I know for comparison.
