Description: The Woodriver Elementary School philosophy is that all children are gifted. Woodriver staff members work diligently to provide each student with a safe, rich educational experience that prepares them to become a productive member within today's diverse and changing society. Each child's development is affected by three primary influences: home-school-community. Parents, as their child's first and most influential teachers, are vital members of the Woodriver Instructional Team. School programs utilize a variety of teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Each child is challenged to develop their unique potential, respect themselves and others, be critical thinkers and problem solvers, and view themselves as life-long learners. Open Arms will be offering after school care on site at Woodriver from 3:30 -6:00pm.
