I strongly recommend Open Arms to any individual searching for a loving, engaging place to enroll his or her children. My son began attending here shortly before his second birthday. Prior to this, I was a stay at home mom and we never spent more than a few hours apart from each other. I took on a full time job and began working 9 hour days. The staff made sure my son and I were both at ease during this transition. Now that he has attended for nearly a year, I have seen so many positive changes in my son. His vocabulary has expanded immensely. He utilizes problem solving skills. He is far more independent. He often displays new concepts that I did not teach to him. He is very good with other children and extremely polite and respectful. It truly makes me so proud! I have his teachers to thank for taking the time to work with him and help him grow. The staff communicates with you throughout the day and make you feel like you and your child are family. The daycare has fun activities like field trips and Christmas parties. They bring in outside resources for entertainment. For example, the public library comes and reads to the children. It is immaculately clean and there are many educational stations for the children to participate in. My son loves it here and in a world where finding someone to trust with your child is becoming increasingly hard, I can honestly say I fully trust the faculty members of Open Arms with my son without hesitation.
