A complete report will include a description of the incident, what the licensee has done to verify the particulars of what occurred, and how the licensee has taken corrective action to ensure the safety and well-being of children and to prevent a future serious violation. If such a report is received in a timely manner from a licensee with a history of consistent regulatory compliance, no child has been seriously injured or harmed as a result of the incident or situation, and the licensee has taken prompt and appropriate corrective action; the Division may, on a case by case basis and at the Division's discretion, elect to issue a warning, rather than a violation related to that incident or situation.
