Description: To provide mothers with a break during the week, our preschool ministry is pleased to offer Mother's Day Out every Tuesday for a nominal charge. While at MDO, children spend the day with their friends and participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities. Registration is open to the church and community for preschoolers who are six weeks through Pre-K. For more information, you may pick up a brochure at the Preschool Welcome Desk.

I just went to drop my special needs child off at Olive Baptist Church Mother's day out program... when I went to leave he started freaking out crying. They asked for his blanket and paci (which he can't have after his bday in a few wks so I've been trying to wean him and don't like him using it all day!). I went and got it and he was still crying. I asked did I need to just take him home and one of the teachers kept verbalized pausing in a way that I could infer that she didn't want him to stay. When I talked to the director about it- she accused me of lying.. I can in all honesty say that they are ill equipped and trained to deal with the needs of special needs children!
