I just went to drop my special needs child off at Olive Baptist Church Mother's day out program... when I went to leave he started freaking out crying. They asked for his blanket and paci (which he can't have after his bday in a few wks so I've been trying to wean him and don't like him using it all day!). I went and got it and he was still crying. I asked did I need to just take him home and one of the teachers kept verbalized pausing in a way that I could infer that she didn't want him to stay. When I talked to the director about it- she accused me of lying.. I can in all honesty say that they are ill equipped and trained to deal with the needs of special needs children!
