Olentangy Church Child Care

The Olentangy Church Child Care Center's goal is to provide a clean, safe and developmentally appropriate, Christian environment to which parents may confidently bring their children each weekday.

We have served children ages 18 months to pre-Kindergarten from the community for more than 25 years!

A year-round curriculum with learning centers and motivational activities that build important foundations for future reading and other academic skills are provided.

Weekly themes are used to coordinate a well-balanced curriculum which fosters curiosity and creativity in your developing child.

The Center is licensed by the State of Ohio, Department of Jobs & Family Services. Olentangy Church Child Care is a small, family oriented center with a license capacity of 35 children.

A STEP UP TO QUALITY center - Ohio's voluntary rating system for programs that exceed quality benchmarks of Ohio licensing standards. Benchmarks are ratio, group size, staff education and qualifications, specialized training, administrative practices and early learning.

Through the Olentangy Church, we offer a 20% reduced tuition for those who meet the income standard of the Ohio Child and Adult Care Food Program.

We have outdoors: a very large playground where the children can run and ride their bikes; a grassy area for playing ball and swimming in the summer and; a climbing area with a large covered sand box that leads to many fun adventures.

Field trips are a highlight for us, and if we can't get out we invite special visitors in. Favorite trips are to the zoo and the pumpkin farm where the adults can outnumber the kids! Monthly we visit the nursing home next door to us to share our songs, programs, and annually have our July 4th bike parade there. Our families which include many of the children's grandparents love to attend our programs at Christmas and Graduation.
