Description: SACC is a Fairfax County Offi ce for Children program that offers professional group care during non-school hours for all children attending kindergarten through sixth grade. It is located in most Fairfax County public elementary schools throughout the county, as well as Key and Kilmer Centers which serve multiple types of disabilities, ages 5-21. SACC’s curriculum guidelines and activities support Virginia’s Standards of Learning through fun, hands-on and experiential learning experiences. SACC teachers strive to provide balance in the children’s day – a relaxing yet stimulating environment, time to play with friends and time to quietly curl up with a book. SACC is a place for children to run, to think, to create and to imagine.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

This past school year(2016 -2017) has been awful. One staff member has been very mean to my daughter. I have addressed the situation but there has been no change. I am removing my daughter from SACC at Sunrise Valley. There is no leadership this past year. The director the past year was definitely a leader and took control.
SVES SACC has always been a place where my child has felt and comfortable. However, since Ms. Hema left SACC it has not been the same. My family do not get that warm, welcoming feeling ANYMORE. The new staff are not very nice. I have tried contacting SACC headquarters about this but nothing has been done. I will definitely withdraw my child soon from SACC soon.
My kids have attended the SACC at Sunrise Valley from 2011 -2015. It was an amazing experience. Ms. Hema is the director and she is awesome. I consider her like family. My children were always excited to go to SACC to do the fun activities. I always felt confident leaving my kids in Ms. Hema's care. Sometimes they didn't want to come home.
