Description: Northwest’s Child serves kids, teens and young adults between the ages of 5 and 21. We are a year round program. During the school year we are open after school until 6:00pm. When school is out, due to no-school days, holidays, spring break and summer vacation, Northwest’s Child is open from 7:00am until 6:00pm.
We are closed for a few major Holidays, for the first full week of August, and the week between Christmas and New Years. However, all of our staff are trained to provide respite care during the times our program is closed.
During the day, staff work with the students to continue and build upon the IEP’s put in place by each child’s school district. The staff also take the kids on field trips, lead them in arts and crafts, group activities, social and independent living skills.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed.
