About the Provider

Northlake Montessori provides children with a safe and nurturing environment where they will thrive to reach their full potential and receive a first-class early development education. Maria Montessori observed that early childhood is a critical time for learning and so do we. Our goal is to instill a life-long love of learning in each one of our children and allow them to grow in his or her own time by meeting their needs mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and creatively. All of our classrooms are full of unlimited experiences to learn through hands on and practical experiences by using carefully chosen developmental and Montessori manipulative materials. We have high quality teachers who will understand the uniqueness of your child, and are well-trained/educated to work with their age group. We are a bilingual school and have teachers that speak English, Spanish, Russian, Bosnian, Portages and sign languages. Our teachers will help your child develop problem solving, decision making and self-help skills, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are fundamental building blocks which will contribute to your child’s development, self esteem, confidence and success. Our School believes it is essential that parents/guardians and staff communicate! We encourage you to play an active role in your child’s education by communicating with your child’s teacher/s on a daily basis. Parents who know and understand what takes place in the classroom are then able to support their child’s efforts at home. Come by for a tour, and see how we together can make a difference in your child’s life.
