Meetings with staff members took place immediately after the incident reminding all staff to follow proper procedures that were taught during their Health & Safety Training. Staff members were also reminded to ask for help from the scheduled floater, co-worker in the room, or office staff during transition times and/or whenever extra help is needed. Future staff will also be trained/shown how the walking rope is to be used properly when transitioning the toddlers in and out from the playground.
