I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Hello— have been using this center for a handful of months now, and they have been great, just wanted to correct their hours of business, as it is 7-5; not 6:30-5:30. This makes all the difference for those looking for daycare who need to be at work by 7 or leave the workplace at 5.

They’ve been very open about mishaps in the past, and have corrected any mistakes made. They’re very open with communication (have called when there’s any issues that need to be addressed, from refusing to nap to preferred names), and are very personable and open about clearing the air of any rumors (which do occur in small towns), or questions parents have in general. We have met the majority of the caretakers there, and they are all very well natured people who seem to give the same affection a family member would. The kids always leave happy, and are in good spirits when we do talk about daycare. ????????

Grateful for the staff there, and Sue (the owner) for always making herself available whenever we have questions.

I am the owner

This is in response to Kassy's review. We have been in business for 23 years and have many satisfied families. It is unfortunate that people that don't even know us, believe one person's word without getting the facts.

You should be shut down! Learn to take better care of your children! Pay attention to them more! No child should be getting picked up with bruises all over them! And when the mother asks what had happened and you come back saying "don't be so dramatic" that is NOT okay! You're suppose to protect our children! Not put them in danger!

Confused Parent 2013-10-08 01:05:37

Just got a letter claiming due to government shutdown that there is no more food program! Rates are raising 2 more dollars an hour = 42 dollars a day. crazy. Love the teachers and owner but now I have to pack lunches everyday and pay 2 more dollars an hour. This all happened over one weekend with no warning and all in one day. Not sure if New Heights is worth it. Could have child in best daycare in state for a few dollars more. Their note home said that they have not raised rates in a while but they were 35 dollars an hour, then 38 dollars an hour, then 40, and now 42. This is all in less than 5 years. What is not raising rates in a while, 6 months?
