About the Provider
Welcome to New Beginnings Preschool and Learning Center (NBPS), where your child is our child. I have been the proud owner/operator since December 1998. I like to think of New Beginnings Preschool and Learning Center (NBPS) as a place that children and adults consider their home away from home … a place where they are accepted and loved … a place where laughter and play are cherished … a place where children have the opportunity to explore the environment, create, learn problem solving and personal interaction skills, and learn concepts through first hand experiences. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of teacher and self-directed activities. There are opportunities for solitary play as well as group activities.
I hold special pride in the center’s professional staff. Selected for their knowledge of child development as well as their strong interpersonal skills, they are the strength of our program. When visiting, New Beginnings Preschool and Learning Center (NBPS), please take time to listen, to watch, and to learn from our unique group of children and staff.
It is my goal and the goal of my staff to not only facilitate the learning of the children, parents, and one another, but also make sure that the time children spend away from mommy and daddy is a blossoming time. I believe childhood is a time like no other. It’s a time for exploring, for creating, for discovering about oneself, for meeting the world, for learning how to learn, and for being accepted just the way they are.
