The YMCA Preschool Program emphasizes social, emotional and physical development through stories, games, music, group activities, free play, arts & crafts and creative movement. The Preschool Program fosters growth and development by providing a balance of activities that encourage physical and intellectual development. YMCA Preschool is licensed by the State of CT Department of Public Health.

The Naugatuck YMCA Preschool program will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at our Church Street location. The program is open to children ages 2 years 9 months to 5 years old. Children must be 3 years old by December 31, and must be potty trained before they enter the school program.

The YMCA follows Healthy Eating and Physical Activity standards and includes these guidelines for all of our provided snacks. Parents wishing to know about HEPA can contact Lori Caruso.
