Natasha Irwin

My name is Natasha Irwin. I am 19 years old and am a Manson NW Webster Graduate. I am currently in college for Early Childhood Education. Ever since I was young I've known I have wanted to work with children. My first child care job was when I was 15 at a local daycare as a care provider. Since then I have worked as a CNA at a nursing home and am now looking to start my dream as a daycare provider! I am available Monday-Friday from 6 am until 6 pm, unless contracted otherwise. I do curriculum and follow the Iowa Food program. I strive to not only have the best time with the kids I care for, but also to have them learn something and gain a source of self worth along the way. One question I always get asked is "why do you want to run a daycare? I mean I wouldn't be able to handle it." Yes, being a caregiver is not an easy job, but it is one of the most fulfilling jobs you could ever have. Of course, there are tons of moments when it may feel like the room is out of control, but the way I look at it, those are the moments that create memories. Those are the moments that lessons are learned. Nothing would make me happier to get to be a part of those moments with your children.
