We provide the service of an educational day school for children ranging from infants to twelve years of age. We also provide care and transportation service to children who attend public schools. We are pleased you chose this option for your child(ren). We want you to know that your child's well-being is of the utmost importance to us, together we will share the responsibilities of providing a, safe, comfortable, and enjoyable setting filled with opportunities for nurturing and learning during your child's important growing years.
OUR PHILOSOPHY is simple but rational: We believe that all children can successfully develop in all areas when caring, qualified adults meet their needs timely and effectively. Our goal therefore, is to provide children with a save, loving and educating environment conductive to the development of abilities and skills in all areas: intellectual, social, physical, and emotional and language. We will model and teach values and habits that will help them develop positive concepts of themselves and others. Daycare is an important experience for children because every day is a new beginning.

This owner is the worse which is a direct reflection of the staff. I didn’t meet Claudia until the end and that was enough for me after my child was so far worse. When I first went to the daycare there was two directors that was great they both left at the same time and the daycare went downhill from there. My son had the two year old teacher Ms Davis and she was ghetto as all you can get! She stay talking to kids crazy and In their face and another parent said the right word bullying. My child behave like a typical 2 year old but when confronted with pettiness he learned it also. After he complained about the teacher pinching him and we all three grandparents confronted her she then pointed out every behavior pattern she could find and gather eyes to support her because she wanted to build a case to help her out and the owner never attempted to correct the problem she zeroed in on the fact that we told her that the teacher told us she recorded him with her cell phone and that we was going to report her and immediately she told us not to bring our son back! This daycare is horrible and the owners need to be investigated throughly I asked her about her education and credentials to be able to effectively handle these types of situations and it didn’t add up. Basically what happen to mine it appears it is a repetitive situation for other parents I also have report them something needs to be done
If I could give this school 0 stars I would!!! When my daughter first started here they had great teachers and using an excellent program. She's been there for 2 years now and they have changed their whole system. They're no longer academically active, they hire teachers who have no business working with kids and just need a check, and young girls that are no equipped. My child use to love to go to this school now, she hates it because her new teacher (Ms. Tina) is consistently mean to her. I informed the Director Mrs. Claudia and she wanted to keep my daughter in that teacher's class while she continued to do an investigation after sharing my concern for the safety of my child. All the years my child has been at this school the director has not once introduced her self or spoken to the parents. As soon as I have a problem with the teacher she no longer wants my child to attend the school. I pay for daycare full price out of my account and expect what I pay for and the fact that the Director doesn't want to investigate who she hires is a HUGE RED FLAG that they're doing something they have no business doing. I wouldn't dare want a parent to waste their time/money sending their child to this Daycare! ITS DISPICABLE
We have used the school from 30 months until 4 yrs.old (we are CASH non NCI). Most of the kids are NCI students. During these years we spoke to Claudia Pena, the Owner and Director once. We recognized our granddaughter was showing signs of anxiety; she was crying, even screaming don't take her, asking to stay home, saying "I hate school"! So we became concerned and addressed it to the "FRONT OFFICE WORKER" (Ms. Steph) in Nov/Dec 2018; we've waited over 8 weeks now. On Friday, January 26, 2019 we discovered the 3 year old new teacher (Nov/Dec) was BULLYING her!!! She got in her face and screamed at her to "shut-up, shut-up, shut-up". We were called 2 days in a row to pick her up because she was hysterical on both occasions, I picked her up. She was calm on both times when I arrived. We were told she doesn't want to sleep or lay down. On Friday, the teacher placed her hand in front of her face aburptly to stop her from coming to me. When she saw it was me the teacher panicked! We addressed this on Monday January 28, 2019 to have her in another class room. She did extremely well; she even took her nap. Then we were told by Claudia she could not provide SAFETY for her (to eliminate an investigation of the teacher). If a child says a teacher is "mad" with them and show's fear of going to school; ACT IMMEDIATELY. A complaint is being field with DFPS for an investigation. We pray no one is hurt. Most teachers have dual jobs (teaching and driving the bus). The students teacher are not with them the entire day. There is no onsite director. Claudia briefly comes in. The staff changes frequently. Some teachers (Ms. Davis) are really good, most have left the school.
We are so happy to be part of My Little World Academy, our children love this place, the staff, the food, and all the extra activities they do throughout the year.

I would like to know why a parent will wait until something like this happened to write a negative review about the place he took her children every day for almost 2 years, and always keeping an open balance (late payments)
If you are a mom that wants to received a service and do not pay for it, this is more than likly what is going to happened. We love to take care of children, but we also look after keeping a business running to pay for its expenses, including the salary of the good teachers that this lady acknowledges do a great job. As far as politics, we have a policy that we do not comment religion, politics and adult matters in our premises. This has helped us maintain a great environment for our staff, and for parents that do love our center.
My kids attended this facility when it was Christian and cooper..we continued care because it’s close to our neighborhood where most people are below poverty level and are on NCI but we have to pay cash..there was a discrepancy because my kids Day may have entered the wrong amount and it took over 1400.00 our account..I explained it to the owner she was nonchalant as usual as she was about the HFMD..they agreed to do a refund but we had a balance and because of that she kicked my kids out of the school..if u want your kids to deal with colds, hand foot mouth disease and the owner who is a trump supporter this is your place..hate thia place only tolerated it because the staff loved my kids and we loved the staff!
