I put my son in this school because I trusted that they would look after him and protect his privacy. I signed forms requesting that his image not be shared on social media. Due to carelessness and lack of oversight, a photo of my son was shared on Instagram without my consent. I didn’t feel comfortable sending him back because the photo tagged the school with all the information regarding its hours and address. When I told the daycare this, I also asked for a refund for the month of October (he only attended the first week) and the advance I had paid on the month of November. They refused to refund both the money I paid for October and November. The reason they gave was that I didn’t give 2 weeks notice, and it didn’t matter that it wasn’t my fault I didn’t feel safe sending him back. If you are looking for a school that respects your child’s privacy or takes accountability for its mistakes, this isn’t the place. If you do take a chance on this school, please don’t pay more than a week in advance.
