Description: We are passionate about providing a nurturing and safe environment within which children can begin a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said that “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me…” (Mark 9:37). We welcome our children by inviting them to be an active part of our church family and by demonstrating to them that they are vital members of our Christian community.
Whether it’s Sunday school, Mother's Day Out, Kingdom Seekers, VBS, Children's Choir or any other activity, we strive to present and model God’s love. We are blessed with a caring staff and volunteers who work hard and pray hard to create a loving, safe environment where children can come to know Christ, love Christ, and serve Christ by serving others.
Our programs are structured for ages two through 5th grade. For out littlest ones we offer a staffed and fully equipped nursery facility. To learn more about our Children’s Ministries contact the church office.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. Question by Lanae (4 months ago): Hello, I was just wondering if you had any openings for a 5 year old?
The staff and director are beyond amazing with my girls! They have learned so much from the teachers and have made so many new friends! Wonderful loving Christian environment. To the previous review posted: the state of Kansas requires that all children have all food groups packed in their lunches if parents don’t provide those food items the center could be in violation of state regulations. The MDO center also provides the child with whatever food group is missing for free, so I don’t think the note was to be rude it was to inform this parent of the star guidelines that every parent must abide by for their child attending Mother’s Day out. They aren’t judging anyone’s lunch they are following Kansas State Health set guidelines!!
Took my child here several years ago. Very rude staff and thought it appropriate to send a note home in my child's lunch sack trying to police my lunch packing skills for MY child. Lunch was a sandwich, juice and cookie. Not christ-like staff, clearly likes to look down on the community, will never subject myself or my child to that again. Hipocrite comes to mind when I think about that place.
