I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Only a couple wonderful caretakers there, but my experience there was less than acceptable. Was told I could call and check up every so often (cause I miss my baby), but that didn't last cause they get annoyed when you call what's 'to many times' to them. Same with pictures, was 3 months since a last picture, and when I request, they get dramatic like I asked to much of them. I'm not confrontational so it made me feel like I should just stop asking, which is just sad because I really really really miss my baby. They take it as if I don't trust them watching my baby, but I just have separation issues. There were many things I were concerned about but kept to myself like the screen time or the strong chemical smells every so often, or how crazy it was my baby only got a rash while there, but never at home. Last incident, I pickup my baby with 'not her clothes' and missing socks. I get the runaround all till next day pickup. They switched baby clothes. Their incident report only mention pants so when asked about the missing socks to, I got mixed stories of 'baby didn't come with socks' or 'they are in the pack', both I explained were false, but the director got dramatic, telling me what she's told many times. If I don't like it, I can leave, and proceeded to grudgingly buy a set of sock as if to say "shut up about the socks". I never said I didn't like the daycare. I simply had minor concerns that were not hard nor difficult to answer, but were apparently so for one, or two, of the staff. My care with them was terminated that day because I asked about the missing socks that were not on the incident report, but no one told me directly and I didn't find out till next Monday when I arrived for dropoff. I did get reimbursed but the situation was uncalled for and could have been handled way differently. The owner thankfully took her one more day, but I had to miss work for 2 days short-notice trying to find replacement care nonstop because the director didn't directly tell me that Friday when the incident report was given. Overall, I felt if I had any concerns, I had to keep them to myself, or if the staff mess up, like a clothes swap, it's best to suck it up and don't bring it up. They don't like complaints and the director if quick to tell you if you don't like it, leave. I hope no one goes through anything like this. I've thankfully found a brighter place for the same price who has no issues with my calling 3-4 times a day, sends pictures every day without me asking, and all the babies there seem more calm not crying every time I call. To this day care, good luck and good riddance.
