| A safe indoor and outdoor environment was not provided for the children. Five metal stakes that hold the plastic border surrounding the mulch were sticking up and were a tripping hazard. The deck used for children to exit the classroom to the playground has wood that is splintered in 5 different areas as well as chipping paint. The cap is not attached to one vertical fence pole between playground 2 and 3. This is a violation of requirement in 10A NCAC 09 .0601(a). A section of the lattice was disconnected from the deck. | |||
