We absolutely love Maisha. She's patient, caring, great with babies. She's awesome! Our son loves her too. We give her high marks.
I am sorry to hear that there was an unhappy parent at Moore Family Daycare. Though I can appreciate everyone is entitled to their own opinions and free to share them, I can honestly say I have not had a negative experience at the daycare. Maisha may not do things the same cookie cutter way all the other daycares do, but that's what makes her place special. She has been good to me and great to my kids. My daughter left her Pre-K program, literally on a 1st grade level. When she went to register at school, the teacher that was doing the pre test asked me where she went for Pre-K. I told her Moore Family Daycare then asked her why? She told me that she can tell someone has invested time into her education because she is really ready for 1st grade. Wow!! Impressive!! Every daycare is not for everybody. It's unfortunate that the parent that left will never get to see how her child could have flourished with Ms. Maisha. I wish her well and hope she finds the perfect daycare to satisfy her childcare needs. Meanwhile, my baby will be preparing the takeover of her 1st grade class because of the awesome foundation she has had.
Ms. Maisha is a GOD send!!! She has a beautiful loving home, great volunteers, a clean house, and she truly has a heart for the children. My children are headed to kindergarten and they are so smart. I know it takes a gifted person to care for children and she has that gift. I love this place and which my children did not have to leave. What a great opportunity for love and learning for my children. She is THE BEST!!!
My child has been with Maisha Moore's Daycare since she was almost 3 months old. She is now 7 years old and going to the 2nd grade. When my daughter left her to attend Kindergarten, she was reading above her level and new some sign language. Obvious the lady that wrote that negative review about Maisha Daycare and the other daycare provider is just unhappy with any provider and I suggest for her to be a stay at home mother and take care of her own child. My daughter still goes to her for afterschool care and loves it. Maisha Moore's Daycare Facility is a loving facility and she treats all children like her own.
I am not sure who this person is above but she is FAR from correct!!! Maisha is the BEST in home family daycare I have ever experienced for my daughters who are now in the 3rd and 4th grade. Both of my children came out of her daycare above reading level going into kindergarten and they are both A.R. readers at their school. She is very caring and has loved on my children since they were both 1 year olds. I am more than happy to recommend Moore's Family Daycare to ANYONE who asks. That review above is slanderous and out of order. We love Moore's Family Daycare!!!
Maisha promises that she teaches but actually sits on the couch all day. She had friends and family in and out of her home and she's quick to cut corners. She is not reliable not is she accountable for mistakes she makes. She's horrible at communicating and lies at the drop of a hat! LaKita Terrell is no better by the way.
