Everything based on brown nosing. Don't fulfill the emotional needs of management?
All decision-making is based on personal emotions of the owner and management. If you don't constantly answer their beckon call and play therapist and maid to them...well, they got a problem with you. They'll hire someone else before you're out the door! One employee in upper management was "stealing" from the company, was caught red-handed, and still has a job! Another, out of the blue, had company technology and a huge money drop stolen from their unlocked car and didn't even have to pay it back and still has a job! They just tell management what they want to hear then do their own thing, anyway, because the person who is supposed to support and check up on things looks pretty okay on paper BUT not in theory. This person does nothing but criticize, have you do their dirty work while they sit in a closed quiet room playing on the computer(not present, just there, physically, NOT assisting with classrooms or breaks) and takes off countless days for God knows what?! You just "try" to take a day off...you'll be penalized and scolded. But, mainly, management may do whatever they want and are MIA when you need them BUT No One is gonna tell..mostly, because it wouldn't matter because their long time employees are family and cater to the owner's emotional needs....so you keep your mouth shut until you find a more professional company and leave the drama cliques, made up of, all women crawling over each to kiss the God Mother's royal....uh...Ring!
