Millcreek Children's Center

Millcreek Children's Center is a preschool for children ages three to five serving the Youngstown, Ohio area since 1976. Millcreek Children's Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves lower income working families so that their children can succeed in kindergarten. Statistics show that children enrolled in a high quality early learning program, particularly lower income children, are more likely to stay in school, attend college, earn more money and be employed in high-skilled jobs.

Millcreek Children’s Center is Two-Star Step Up to Quality rated. We were awarded a Two-Star recognition because of our excellent child care program and our commitment to children. Step Up To Quality is a voluntary rating system for early care and education programs where the school can receive ratings by meeting an extensive list of quality benchmarks. Millcreek Children's Center operates Monday through Friday, September-July, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to assist working parents. We serve hot nutritious meals, and morning and afternoon snacks. We have a safe, clean, and enriched learning environment.
