I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I thought this was a good program, my daughter loved being here. Until the day I got the phone call every parent dreads. I was told she fell and possibly broke her arm. After taking her to the emergency room the doctor said she had nursemaids elbow. They had to try twice to get her ulna to reconnect to the radius. It was excruciating for my two year old daughter and awful for me. The doctor also said this injury is not caused by a fall and by an adult must have yanked on her arm. When I tried to talk to bri the director about what the doctor said, she insisted my daughter was clumsy and had fallen over and done this to herself. Well the doctor reported it to the state as abuse and now there’s an investigation into the situation.

Hi Amanda, Thank you for your review. I remember that day like it was yesterday and how frightening it was. It was my first time experiencing anything like this. I can't even imagine being a mom getting that phone call. I will say though when you shared with me what the doctor said, my reaction was "oh boy!" That was concerning. You assured me that you did not think anything malicious was done to her and she also had told you what happened and it was not done by a teacher. My number one concern has always been and will always be the safety of all the children that we are entrusted to teach, guide and provide for while in our care. I was the one who reported it to the state as you know to ensure all bases was covered. We have had 100's of children in our care over the years and as I stated early, this is the first time anything like this has happened. We loved having your family here and we wish you nothing but the best.
